Ed and Rain are USAR/EMAT certified and currently working and training with the Tennessee Task Force One, based in West Tennessee.

Deborah Burnett and Keno

Deborah and Keno are USAR/EMAT certified and currently working and training with the Tennessee Task Force One, based in West Tennessee. Deborah is the West Tennessee EMAT K-9 Coordinator.

Deborah Burnett and Taz

Deborah and Taz are EMAT certified. Taz's specialty training is Detection of Human Remains on Land and Detection of Live Victims in Wilderness Air Scent Search Work. The team assisted NASA for one week in Texas during the Space Shuttle Columbia Recovery.

Robert and Shady are USAR/EMAT certified and currently working and training with the Tennessee Task Force One, based in West Tennessee.

Ed Apple and Sam

On October 30, 2004, Ed Apple and K-9 "Sam" met the standards of performance established by the Emergency Management Association of Tennessee as a mission-ready team of K-9 and Handler for Human Remains Detection on Land. The testing/evaluation was conducted in Fayette County, Tennessee

Tommy Kelley and Zip

Tommy and Zip are USAR/EMAT certified and currently working and training with the Tennessee Task Force One, based in West Tennessee.

Patsy Hargis and Sis

Patsy and Sis are EMAT certified in Scent Discriminating Tracking/Trailing work. The team is based in Middle Tennessee. Patsy is the State EMAT K-9 Coordinator

David Bowman and Tucker

David Bowman and K-9 Tucker met EMAT Certification Requirements as a Scent-Discriminating Tracking/Trailing Team in April, 2008. Their home base is the Cumberland Plateau. The team made their first find of a missing person in August, 2008.

Anthony Loshbough and Ruby

Anthony Loshbough and K-9 Ruby met EMAT certification requirements as a Scent-Discriminating Tracking/Trailing Team in April, 2008. Their home base is the Cumberland Plateau. The team made their first find of a missing person in September, 2009.

 

All Teams that are listed as USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) Teams have met the standard of practice required by both FEMA and EMAT for the location of live victims trapped in collapsed structures or "rubble" piles.
